Drag Chain Conveyors

Excellent conveyor for high impact and loading of all materials.

• KWS Drag Chain Conveyors are shipped complete and ready to install and run unless otherwise stated in your personalized proposal. Conveyor frames are constructed primarily from hot-rolled sheet steel and heavy gauge structural steel meeting ASTM A-36 specifications. Curve sections utilize rolled structural shapes for smooth operation and noise reduction.

• Abrasion-resistant, ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) polymer strips line all areas on contact between the chain belt assembly and the steel frame. The polymer strips act as a "lubricated" surface to reduce friction and operational wear factors.

• All shafts are a minimum 2-15/16" diameter, mounted in type SCM pillow block ball bearings.

• Conveyor sides are of an open design to all for ease of cleaning, maintenance, and repair as necessary.

• When abrasives are present in the stream, 2" vulcanized sidewall will be added to the belt assembly

• Heavier duty drag chain belt conveyors are available to handle very large material loads to your debaler, pulper, shear, or baler.

Roller Chain Conveyors

Medium to heavy duty conveyor – best for transferring material long distances with less impact and loading requirements.

• KWS Roller Chain Conveyors are shipped complete and ready to install and run unless otherwise stated in your personalized proposal. Conveyor frames are constructed primarily from hot-rolled sheet steel and heavy gauge structural steel meeting ASTM A-36 specifications.  Curve sections utilize rolled structural shapes for smooth operation and noise reduction.

• All shafts are a minimum 2-15/16" diameter, mounted in type SCM pillow block ball bearings.

• Conveyor sides are of an open design to all for ease of cleaning, maintenance, and repair as necessary.

Hinged Steel Belt / Steel Apron / Steel Z-Pan Conveyors

Heavy Duty conveyors for recyclables and well suited for non-ferrous and steel scrap applications as well as solid waste processing facilities.

Sliderbed Conveyors

The KWS Slider bed is designed and manufactured to receive and transfer or feed paper, corrugated cardboard materials, commingled containers, and other recyclable materials.

• Main frames are MC12 structural steel channel; 3" x 3" x _" spreader angles on 60" (maximum) centers; 7 gauge steel deck and _" think joint plate

• Leg support structures are fabricated from minimum 10" structural steel channels,
  with 3" x 3" x _" spreader angles

• All KWS sliderbed conveyors utilize heavy duty rubber belting or belting most suitable for The application

• Head and tail shafts are 1045 cold-rolled steel bar mounted in Dodge type SCM pillow block ball bearings

• Head and tail pulleys are crown face, with taper lock shaft bushings. Pulleys are sized per unit specifications. Head pulleys are drum style with (minimum) _" lagging installed by manufacturer. Tail Pulleys are wing style, self cleaning

• Sliderbed drive assemblies are engineered and sized on an individual unit basis, per the customers specifications. All drive components are assembled and tested at the factory prior to shipment.
